Did you know that Fabelta means “Belgian manufacture of aluminum works” and was founded in 1957?

Initially, the company located in the St-François district of Laval was run by Mr. Bouillon. Focused on a tailor-made artisanal product, it produced aluminum sliding and casement windows. Among his clients, two young entrepreneurs bought these products to complete their home renovation project. The founder, on the cusp of retirement, moved the company to Manseau, near Quebec.

Loyal customers, Mr. and Mrs. Desroches continue to source their quality products and decide to embark on a new adventure, succeeding Mr. Bouillon by acquiring Fabelta. Shortly after, less than 2 years, the owners brought the business back to Terrebonne in a small rental building on Angora Street. Already driven by the desire for innovation and development, they diversified their product line by adding steel doors, which then led them to acquire their first factory in the early 1990s in the industrial district.

In this decade, the company evolved by first adding PVC products and then launching a line of hybrid products and finally interior solid wood. At the dawn of the 2000s, it offered a full line of residential fenestration products. Built on a solid reputation and an undeniable quality product, the company has become a leader in its industry. It was also during his years that the team experienced its greatest growth, from 3 to more than 80 employees to date.

Today, proud of what it has become, the growth of the company is at the heart of the concerns of its leaders. From the very beginning, the sons of the owners have grown at the pace of Fabelta’s innovation and are now closely involved in the organization. A succession in the image of its two young entrepreneurs who at the end of the 1980s decided to contribute to Quebec entrepreneurship.

Thanks to constant efforts in research and development, we have acquired cutting-edge expertise and a leadership position in innovation. Performance at a fair price has always been our central issue, and has polished our reputation.

Our concern for superior quality is expressed both in our customer service and in our image, which is modern, strong and elegant. As for our products, they go beyond the competition and established standards.

Innovation being one of the primary values of our company, it went without saying that Fabelta year after year would prioritize research and development in order to be at the forefront of technologies in our market. At the head of our research center, our engineers develop new window products that are always more efficient. Our quest leads us to travel and research different technologies in order to be inspired by them and create distinctive products.
